In Celebration of

Filomena Del Corvo

March 30, 1948 -  July 22, 2020

It is with great heartbreak that we announce the passing of our beloved Filomena, at the age of 72, on Wednesday July 22, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario.

Born, March 30th, 1948 in the small village of Celano, L’Aquila, Italy, to the late Angelo Morgante and Angela Palumbo. Loving wife of the late Bruno Del Corvo. Adored mother to Antonella Del Corvo, Denise (Tom) Rice, and Angela Griffith - Del Corvo. Sister to Sante, Gemma, Marisa and Benito. She was the beloved Nonna to Daniel, Kelsey, Alexander, Jessica, Bruno and Mango, as well as, great Nonna to Kitley Mae and Palmer Ann. She touched the lives of all her nieces, nephews, sister and brother in-laws.

She was full of heart, unconditional love and a gentle soul to all. We will miss her words of wisdom, advice and unique urban dictionary.

A private family ceremony where she will be laid to rest, will take place at Pinecrest Cemetery in Ottawa. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, when all those she has touched will be able to join in celebration of a beautiful life.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Canadian Cancer Society in her memory would be appreciated.
