<div itemprop="description">Passed peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at age 88. Beloved husband of Claire for 60 years. Loving father of Dirk, Brian (Nancy) and Helen (Peter Hyland). Proud Grangran to Jacob, Laura, Leanne and Adam. Brother to Monica Corder (Clive) and his late brother Johannes (Lydia), and his late sister Ria (Willem). Erik loved Lake of the Woods and to travel. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of the Queensway Carleton Hospital and to his many lovely PSWs, especially Ives and Carolina, who allowed him to stay at home until the end. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 6, at St. Martin de Porres (3891 old Richmond Rd.) at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the church hall.</div>
