McGREGOR, Donald Keith
Peacefully in Ottawa with his family by his side at the age of 87. Born on June 4, 1930 in Norfolk England, he was the son of the late Peter McGregor and Isabelle Krik. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Rheta (nee Melville); his children Catherine Woods (Andy Dondorff) and Gordon (Heather) McGregor; his grandchildren Martin, Matthew, Marcus, Brianna, Holly and Dylan, and his brother Geoff (Davina) of Australia. Predeceased by his siblings Peter and Leslie, both of the UK. Donald will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends. The family wishes to thank the palliative care team led by Dr. McKinnon and Dr. Cross, the St. Elizabeth Healthcare team, May Court Hospice team and the Civic Hospital Emergency team for their wonderful care and support. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel (2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa) on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. Inurnment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Elizabeth Healthcare or the May Court Hospice would be appreciated.
