We must, sadly, announce the passing of: Dolores (Lorrie) Iva Wilson (nee: Denison). Born in Guelph, Ontario on November 16, 1934, raised in Toronto and then moved to Ottawa in 1959 where she passed away November 12, 2016 just four days shy of her 82nd Birthday.
She will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 61 years: William (Bill) John Wilson and her children: Virginia Notley, Gregory (Trish) Wilson and Brett (Michelle) Wilson. Also, by her grandchildren Aaron (Amy) and Kyle, Sydney and Moira. Daughter of the late Mary Woods/Denison (nee: Lutz/Lutes) and Charles Denison. Predeceased by her son, Todd Burton Wilson and her son-in-law, Glynn Notley.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated and compassionate staff, Nurses and Doctors at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Donations to The Canadian Cancer Society, The Lung Association or The Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
Visitation will be held at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road on Saturday, November 19th, 2016 from 2pm until time of the Service at 3pm. Reception to follow.
