<div itemprop="description">Passed away surrounded by his grandchildren at the Perley and Rideau Veteran’s Health Centre, on Friday, April 20th, 2018, age 96. Predeceased by his wife Artemisia, sisters Markella and Anna, and brother Constantinos. Loving father of George (Helen) and Athanasios (Panayota). Proud Pappou of James (Bailey), Dimitri, Mannie, Ioanna, Artie, Artemie, Patti (Frank) and his six great grandchildren. Brother of Eve and John. He will also be missed by his sisters-in-law Helen and Evagelia, nieces, nephews and extended family. The family extend a special thank-you to the staff of the Perley and Rideau Veteran’s Health Centre and to Father Alex for their compassion, care and friendship. Family and friends are invited to visit at Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 1315 Prince of Wales Drive on Monday, April 23rd, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with Trisagion Prayers at 7pm. Visitation will continue at the church on Tuesday, April 24th at 10am until time of the Funeral Service at 11am. Burial to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church. <br></div>
