Owner of Cecil’s Esso
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Cecil. Loving Husband to Alaine (née Monaghan). Best Dad in the world to Doris Easton, Donnie (Jan) and Sheila Bédard (Mike). Very proud Grandpa of Alanah, Jennifer, Adam and Kevin. Dear Great-Grandpa to Owen and Haley. Will be missed by sister Monica McAleer (Max). Cecil was a true automotive professional serving the community. His generosity touched many Ottawa residents for over 6 decades. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Nurses and Doctors from 6th North West Ottawa General Hospital for their compassionate care.
Friends are invited to visit on Thursday, August 3 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Maurice’s Catholic Church, 4 Perry Street on Friday, August 4 at 11am. A reception will follow. Interment at Capital Memorial Gardens Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to the Lung Association.
