<div itemprop="description">Cathy (Catherine) Elizabeth Hanlon passed away peacefully December 17, 2019 with family by her side.<br> <br>Cathy was a dedicated wife and mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grammie to Josie. <br> <br>She will forever be remembered as a witty, inspirational, confident woman who always put others ahead of herself. She was a mentor for the Canadian Cancer Society and was a passionate advocate for those with metastatic breast cancer. She enjoyed time with family and friends whether travelling the world or relaxing in her backyard garden. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.<br> <br>Survived by her beloved husband Brian Bermingham, children Ryan Grevatt (Marissa), Adam Grevatt (Sarah), Erin Grevatt, step daughter Kerrie Bermingham-Zanetti (Bobby), and her granddaughter Josephine (Josie) Catherine Grevatt. Her mother Kitty and her siblings Kevin (Alice), Anne (Bob), Dee (Pete), Teresa (Scott), Joanne (Mark), James (Shelly) and Brian (Louise); plus many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her father James (Jim) Hanlon. All of whom she loved and touched deeply. <br> <br>Cathy’s family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life Sunday December 22, 2019, 2 PM at Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa.
