<div itemprop="description">Peacefully at her home, surrounded by loving family and friends, Anita De Lottinville (nee Genereux) passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020. Anita was born in Moonbeam Ontario on March 17, 1935. The daughter of Lucienne (nee Aspeck) and George Genereux. Anita is survived by her son Tim Nelson (Laura). She is now reunited with her beloved daughter Sheryl and husband Edwin De Lottinville. Anita had a passion for travel, gardening, and cooking. She was an avid Ottawa Senators fan. She was a dedicated employee of Nortel for more than 30 years and took great pride in her years spent with the company. Her strength of character, benevolence and resilience in the face of life's challenges has been an inspiration to all who knew her. Her indomitable spirit encouraged her family and friends to persist in the face of their own struggles. She was quick to laugh and to appreciate the simple pleasures in life. She devoted much of her time to her Alanon and AA families. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews and extended family members. She will be greatly missed by her life long friend Anita Lafrance. We will carry her memory in our hearts. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St-Remi Roman Catholic Church, 2821 Dumaurier Avenue, Ottawa, on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment and Reception will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
